ETC/Elec Theatre Controls ETCnomad Puck512
Upgradeable 512 Output Nomad Mini Computer

A full-featured mini-computer with an embedded ETCnomad dongle, the ETCnomad Puck™512 from ETC supports Cobalt®, Eos®, and Element™ applications, thus providing all the advantages of PC control with none of the risk. You get 512 DMX outputs (One DMX universe) lighting control using both conventional and moving lights, LED luminaires, as well as media servers. The ETCnomad Puck can function with either Eos or Cobalt operating systems in several capacities: primary, backup, client, and offline.

The ETCnomad Puck mini-computer is "locked down. What that means is no software other than ETC applications can be additionally installed, giving you the peace of mind in knowing that your device is secure and being used only for your intended purposes.

It's like having 2 consoles in 1-with no need to select from either Cobalt or Eos/Element™ systems, because it runs both, so you get the best of both worlds-with the ability to quickly and easily switch from one to the other. This small but potent control device comes with 2 HDMI video ports (DVI adapters can be used if needed-sold separately), 1 network port, and 2 USB ports.

You can upgrade the ETCnomad Puck512 in the field (up to 2048 outputs-upgrades sold separately) without any hardware alterations, and it also makes a great remote video interface for your tech table.

Puck supports Ethernet-based lighting protocols Net3™/ACN/sACN and Artnet, or via the ETC Gadget™ USB-to-DMX converter (currently, Puck can only support 1 connected Gadget), plus RDM compatibility is provided via Net3 Gateways. Puck is compatible with fader wings, RFR (Radio Focus Remote), and iRFR and aRFR mobile apps for Apple® and Android® devices, plus it also works with OSC (Open Sound Control) controllers (all sold separately). While running the Cobalt application, it can simultaneously be connected to third-party USB-MIDI panels working with Direct MIDI, too.

The functionality of Puck is dependent on which application is in use. You can find out more information on supported features and user-interface descriptions in Cobalt, Eos-family, and Element documentation, or by contacting your Sales Pro.

Optional fader wings (sold separately), X-keys (sold separately), and USB-MIDI panels (sold separately) compatibility allows for extended and customizable control.
