The 6416m Mic Input Module provides 16 balanced mic-level analog inputs to a Pro64 system. With a switchable Pad per channel, the 6416m also accepts balanced line-level inputs. Each channel also features continuous gain control, +48V phantom power, low cut filter, and a phase reverse switch. Audio settings for each channel can be configured from the front panel or controlled remotely using the optional MCS1 Mic Control Surface.

On the rear panel, the 6416m features both XLR jacks and DB25 multipin connectors for inputs and passive splits. Network connections use heavy duty locking Neutrik EtherCon connectors.

As with the 6416i Input Module, the 6416m can be set to operate in any of four 16-channel banks within the Pro64 network. Each audio channel can be individually activated as needed.

The Pro64 network supports three ranges of variable sample rates: 44.1/48kHz±, 96kHz±, and 192kHz±. No matter the sample rate, all 16 input channels on the 6416m are available for use. All audio is streamed at 24-bit resolution with no data compression at any time.

The 64616m also includes MIDI In, MIDI Out, RS-232, and GPIO for connecting to Pro64's Virtual Data Cables™.

The 6416m is ideally suited for use in a digital snake in a live or studio environment.
