Lowel''s MP-2 is an active monitor panel with 12x1 selectable visual and aural monitoring.  Six channels accept line level inputs (-10dBv to +10dBv) for monitoring amplifiers or other critical points in the signal chain, and six channels accept speaker level inputs (8 ohm or 0-70V) for monitoring the output of sound reinforcement systems. Visual monitoring with precise measurement of selected line or speaker input is accomplished using an analog meter with VU and voltage scales. Subjective aural monitoring of selected line or speaker input is accomplished through 3x5 inch internal speaker, which may also be accessed using the monaural headphone output (stereo jack) on the front of the panel.
